AMD announces pricing and availability for RX 9070 and 9070 XT | Infinium-tech
AMD today finally announced information about pricing and availability for the Graphics Card’s Radon RX 9000 series. The RX 9070 is priced at $ 549 and the RX 9070 XT is priced at $ 599. They will be available from 6 March.
The company also issued complete specifications for these cards. The RX 9070 has 56 compute units, 2.1GHz game clock, 2.5GHz boost clock and 220W power target. The RX 9070 XT has 64 compute units, 2.4GHz game clock, 3.0GHz boost clock and 304W power limit.
Both cards have a 256-bit memory interface and 16GB memory with 64MB infinity cash. Both also include displayport 2.1A and HDMI 2.1B connectivity. The AMD is also affixed with the old 8-pin power connector.
AMD also released some first-sided benchmark results, where it compared both new cards against RX 7900 GRE. According to these results, 9070 On average 30+ games are on an average of 21% faster at 4K, including ray -traced as well as lined results, RDNA 4 in RDNA 4 with more profit during the Ray Tresing title due to better ray trace performance. Meanwhile, 9070 xt is 42% faster in the same title. AMD also claims that 9070 XT is on average 2% slower than $ 750 NVidia RTX 5070 TI in the same title at 4K on an average.
AMD also provided additional information on FSR4, which is its next generation super resolution and frame generation technology. The FSR 4 is optimized for new ML hardware inside the RDNA 4 graphics card and can provide better image quality than the older versions of FSR that hardware are agnostic. For example, it will be specially available on the new 9000 series cards at the time of launch. AMD is promising availability in 30+ games at launch and 75+ before the end of 2025.
The RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT was first announced in CES 2025 during a keynote speaker in early January. At that time, AMD briefly ejected his existence without any other knowledge because NVIDIA had to launch its products yet.

9070 and 9070 xt will be available only through AMD board partners, including Acer, Asrock, Asus, Gigabyte, Powercolor, Sapphire, Vastarmor, XFX and Yeston. OEMS has stocked the hands of retailers for some time, so availability should be good on the day of launch.
