All iPhone 17 models to have top-tier Samsung OLED screens | Infinium-tech
Apple plans to use the Samsung M14 OLED panel in all the iPhone 17 models, claiming a tipster. It will include non-pro model, as well as iPhone 17 Air, which marks for the first time in years Apple will use the same top-tier panel in all their phones.
The M14 panel has a special light emitting layer, normal layers and prime layers that form individual pixels in OLED. Different materials have different properties and use different compositions, allowing performance to perform at the top level.
iPhone 16 Pro Max
Samsung already provided Apple with the M14 display for the iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max. These panels have 30% greater brightness and a longer lifetime than 2023 from the M13 panel. However, non-ex models also used technology earlier also, such as M12, which also appeared on the iPhone 15.
Switching at the Pro level of the panel still does not guarantee that all the phones will get all the facilities, however. Publicity, Apple’s name for 120 Hz refresh rates, can still be locked for some cheap models.
